Pet Loss Support & Resources

October 06, 2021

Losing a pet is nothing short of losing a dear friend or family member.

Feelings of grief and sadness are normal, and it's important to recognize that each person has a unique grieving process. At the Animal Medical Center of the Village, we are pet parents ourselves and know what a tremendous loss your pet's passing is to you and your family. We care.

To help you and your family through this difficult time, our pet clinic offers pet loss support. In addition, the following two links to Fond Memories and Pet Loss Help are wonderful resources. Their grief support pages offer extensive pet loss support and resources to help you at any stage of the grieving process.

If your feelings of loss and sadness are overwhelming, remember you are not alone. Please call the National Suicide Prevention Lifeline at 1-800-273-8255.
