Dr. Dan Jordan - Veterinarian

Dr. Dan Jordan has practiced in the Houston area for over 30 years since earning his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Texas A&M College of Veterinary Medicine.

In 1995, he moved his practice to central Houston to reach a larger, more diverse client base, and opened Animal Medical Center of the Village. In addition to providing top-notch care for domestic animals, he has a love for exotic animal and wildlife medicine, which began when he recognized the need for expert exotic animal medical care. He witnessed the concern and heartbreak his mother experienced when she had searched unsuccessfully for an avian vet to treat her sick Amazon parrot. Dr. Jordan created a niche for his broad interests by combining dog and cat medicine with the emerging field of exotic medicine.

Both clients and staff agree that Dr. Jordan is a gifted veterinarian. His dedication and devotion to all animals are illustrated by the consistently exceptional, quality care he provides. Fundamental, time-tested basics woven together with the most current scientific research, pharmacology, and state-of-the-art technology are the driving forces behind Dr. Jordan’s veterinary practice. His profound understanding of veterinary medicine, curiosity and aptitude for discovering the root cause of any illness affecting a pet, compassionate treatment towards all patients, and the gratitude he and his staff maintain in their relationship with AMCV clients and their pets are all foundational to his practice.
