Our Animal Hospital is AAHA-Accredited

At our animal hospital, we don’t believe it’s enough to say that we treat your pets with the greatest compassion and expertise. Instead, we strive to deliver a first-class experience to all of our visitors, with the goal of exceeding expectations and building lasting partnerships. We want to be your trusted veterinarian for the long term. Therefore, we promise to give our patients in Houston and area suburbs our best effort. By holding accreditation from the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA), we've shown our commitment to the highest standards in veterinary medicine and service.

What is AAHA?

Established in 1933, AAHA is the only accrediting body for animal hospitals in North America. Furthermore, only 15% of practices are accredited. AAHA sets extremely rigorous standards, which is why becoming accredited is truly a team effort, inside and out.

By committing to our accreditation, we also commit ourselves to the well-being and satisfaction of our patients and clients. AAHA holds animal hospitals to the highest possible standards in the veterinary field. Our animal hospital is inspected every three years to ensure that we are meeting or exceeding these standards. To maintain our accreditation, we have to adhere to over 900 standards in areas including sanitation, safety, responsiveness, patient care and much more.

How Our Accreditation Benefits You

Through our AAHA accreditation, we hope to continue our tradition of exceptional medicine and customer service for many years to come. Not only do we adhere to numerous guidelines, but we continually further our education and expertise to better serve our community. After all, we only want to give pet families the care and compassion they deserve.

Just the kindest, pet centered vets in town! They have been so responsive and so they treat exotics. Nice to have one place for all of our animals - Dachshund, Lab, Great Pyrenees and our Flemish Giant rabbit.

Brought my bearded dragon as a first time visitor. The staff was so nice and helpful! I felt very comfortable. The doctors and assistants were also knowledgeable and took time to make sure I was providing the right care for my Tomo.

I also love that you treat so many kinds of animals! We have taken you ferrets, a chicken, a pot bellied pig and ofcourse, dogs. You have done an excellent job with all. I would (and do often!) heartily recommend this clinic. Thank you being so good at your job!

Took our Berber Skink in this weekend and was totally impressed by the caring staff. Dr. Jordan did a great job in diagnosing Skittles' problems. Kim was very patient in explaining what we needed to do to bring him back to health. We would highly recommend them for all your pet family members.

I took my lionhead dwarf rabbit for an initial wellness checkup today and loved Dr. Jordan and Kim! I'm glad to have established Kiki's care here and highly recommend Animal Medical Center of the Village!
